Dear Students,

We are excited to announce a new volunteer opportunity for our Community Garden Project. This initiative aims to create a sustainable garden space in downtown Springfield to provide fresh vegetables for local food banks.

• Project Duration: March 15 - October 30
• Meeting Days: Every Saturday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Location: Springfield Community Center, 425 Oak Street
• Requirements: No prior gardening experience necessary
• Benefits: Community service hours, free lunch provided

Volunteers will help with planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting vegetables. We especially need help during the spring planting season (March-May) and fall harvest period (September-October). All tools and materials will be provided by the organization.
